He started as an intern and was chosen to help train Japanese executives in this philosophy before Tokyo Disneyland (TDL) opened. Doug lead corporate training initiatives at Disney's headquarters when he returned. Doug speaks about Disney, customer service, and change, but he creates a fully customized presentation for each group he speaks to.
Upon leaving Disney, Doug worked with international corporations, such as Procter & Gamble and Intel, to develop and implement strategies for better leadership and management of diverse teams of professionals, as their businesses were becoming more global. After many years of consulting for Fortune 500 clients, Doug established his training and consulting firm. Since 1995, Doug has given 1,500+ keynote presentations to 500,000+ attendees on five continents.
