His initial interest in being a film composer drove him to pursue his music scholarship at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas studying composition under Virko Baley from the prestigious Las Vegas Academy for piano and theatre majors. This led further into orchestrating of two feature films as well numerous shorts. With The Rooks and Modern Science providing the soundscape for his journey, he took to performing live.
His presence at Don't Tell Mama in Las Vegas quickly became a regular occurrence, cementing him as an up-and-coming artist on stage.
