I’m very discerning when it comes to saying yes to performing with a Rolling Stones tribute band. When your childhood soundtrack included hearing those songs long before most of the world did, you develop a certain standard. The groove has to be right. The grit has to be real. And the musicianship has to honor the spirit of what made that music timeless in the first place. Major kudos to this group. They don’t just cover the catalog — they understand it. The energy, the swagger, the discipline behind the chaos… it was all there. I had just as much fun watching and listening as I did performing. The audience was fired up from start to finish, and the band absolutely owned the stage for two 90-minute sets. It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to really rock out like that — and I’m genuinely honored to have shared the stage with them. The songs live on, the energy lives on — and I’m grateful to play even a small part in keeping that flame burning.
