We need to have a target date for your event to give you the best service and to ensure we don’t suggest entertainers that turn out to be unavailable once you do select a date. Additionally, performers’ rates change based on the time of year and day of the week. But our agents are familiar with our artists’ pricing and will do their best to guide you, even if you don’t have the date finalized. 

We want to help you find the best entertainment option that fits your budget and the theme and mood of your event. Your budget for entertainment gives us parameters so we don’t waste your time by suggesting entertainment options that don’t fit your budget. If you just have a general event budget and don’t have a specific entertainment budget, we’ll work with you to come up with entertainment options that work within your total event budget and stretch your budget dollars to maximum effect.

You may go through our database of entertainers and find an act or two that really appeal to you and fit your event. If it turns out that their cost exceeds your budget (or that you could afford a much more elaborate version of the act you found), we will work with you to find options that do work for your budget. Because we are so familiar with so many performers, we are almost always able to help you find comparable, affordable entertainment options that will make your event memorable.

Many of our performers will travel to other locations. We can work with you to find entertainment options that are available to travel to your event and still work within your budget once travel-related expenses are factored in.

Until an artist contract is signed for your event, our agents handle all artist communication. If you have questions about customizing performances or logistical issues, we will work with you and the artist to get them all resolved. Once an event contract is signed, you will have more direct contact with your hired entertainers if that is what you prefer.

Our commission is included in the price we quote you. There are no last-minute surprise fees. But because we are providing the entertainers in our database with a steady stream of bookings, we can almost always get you a better rate than you would get if you tried to book directly with the artist. And we handle all the details to make your event planning easier. That is the value of the relationships we have built with these performers.

To register, you will need to submit your photos and videos, as well as other information about your performances, so that we can create a custom page for you. This registration form also has questions designed specifically for administrative purposes. In order for this process to be successful, it is important that all the required fields are filled out and accurate. This form may take a few minutes of your time but once completed our team will review if you're eligible and give both yourself as well as future clients.

If you're looking for a residency, Altus Entertainment would love to hear from you. We specialize in one-off events, but we can also help with longer residencies! Simply let our team know what your weekly or monthly rates are and we'll be sure contact as soon as something becomes available that matches your needs.

When we confirm a booking, our team sends out a Final Checklist that includes details on everything from the fee to what your on-site requirements are, to what is and is not included in your services. We also send this information over email so buyers can review it themselves before signing off on any contracts. Our goal is to minimize contract confusion and disputes. After you sign off on your checklist, we send a contract and invoice to our client. Deposits are issued to you as soon as we receive them from the buyer. The contract stipulates that payment will be held in our client account until after the event has been successfully completed. Once this is confirmed by both parties, artist payments are then made within one week.
